Home 9 General 9 Ontic Expands Portfolio with Acquisition of Aero-Mach Companies

Oct 1, 2026- The acquisition of the Wichita-based aerospace business and its three established brands brings additional specialist products, capabilities and customer relationships into the Ontic family.

Ontic, a leading supplier to the world’s civil and military aircraft, has today announced its acquisition of the Aero-Mach Companies, a Wichita-based aerospace business comprising three specialist brands: Aero-Mach Labs, Aero-Mach Wilco and Aero-Mach TCO.

With more than 50 years of aviation experience, Aero-Mach has built a strong reputation across the aerospace industry, combining specialist manufacturing and technical expertise with aviation parts distribution and aftermarket support.

Its three brands bring complementary capabilities to the Ontic portfolio. Aero-Mach Labs provides specialist aerospace manufacturing, technical services and repair and overhaul capabilities; Aero-Mach Wilco is an established distributor of aviation parts and products; and Aero-Mach TCO designs and manufactures aircraft static dischargers for piston and turbine aircraft.

Aero-Mach has a proven history of transitioning and supporting aerospace product lines in partnership with leading OEMs, complementing Ontic’s own expertise in taking on established products and supporting them for the long term.

“Aero-Mach is a great fit for Ontic,” said JC Gallagher, CEO of Ontic. “It has an excellent reputation, specialist capabilities and strong relationships with customers across the aviation industry. Importantly, the team also understands what it takes to successfully transition and support aerospace product lines, making its capabilities highly complementary to Ontic.

By bringing Aero-Mach into Ontic, we can build on those strengths while providing the investment, scale and global reach to support its continued growth.”

Jeff Carnley, Aero-Mach CEO said of the acquisition: “Joining Ontic is an exciting next step for Aero-Mach. We share a commitment to quality, technical expertise and long-term customer support. Becoming part of a global aerospace business gives us the opportunity to build on what we have created, invest in our capabilities and continue to grow while retaining the strengths that our customers value.”

The acquisition also adds another established aerospace site to Ontic’s US footprint, taking on the Wichita facility and the team already in place there, and increasing the company’s site count to 11 worldwide.

“Aero-Mach has spent half-a-century building a business and reputation that customers trust,” continued Gallagher. “We’re delighted to welcome the Aero-Mach team to Ontic and to continue supporting the customers who rely on them.”

Jason White, General Manager of Aero-Mach, added: “For our customers, it’s business as usual. They’ll continue to work with the same Aero-Mach team and receive the same quality, service and support they know today. What changes is the global scale, investment and expertise we now have behind us as part of Ontic.”
